The college established in 2009, with the goal of educating young adults in several different technical areas, such as accounting, information technology, nursing, mechanics and logistics. The college has around 350 students, most of them come from low-educated social backgrounds.
The participant will support and help teachers in different areas like sport, health and languages and optimize the services the college gives to the students. The volunteers will be working in both ways: in groups and on their own. Volunteers in this project will help the pupils to acquire technical skills and knowledge and offer them an intercultural experience and perspective. It is required to stay in the project for the duration of one year.
The participant will take part in an arrival orientation, a mid stay orientation and an end of stay camp. In these camps, important subjects will be discussed, such as the participant’s relationship and development with the host family, project and community.
